Using her B.S. Degree in Art Education from Florida International University, Hillary has been teaching for 35 years, helping students to reach their artistic goals. Her professional approach to art education is both effective and very successful, enabling students to gain confidence while enjoying the process of developing and then building upon strong foundation skills in graphite and watercolors.
Presenting courses ranging from novice to master class level, Hillary teaches internationally and shares with each student a strong knowledge of subject and a passion for art & nature, while giving them the opportunity to see and artistically respond to the natural world around them in a whole new way.

Hillary loves working with kids of all ages and levels of skill who are passionate about art! Her private art students benefit greatly from the individual attention as they development a solid foundation of effective art skills and techniques that build confidence in a wide range of different mediums.
These ongoing classes are fun, challenging and educational, focusing on drawing, pen and ink, colored pencils, watercolors, basic photography, collage, acrylics, and 3-D sculpture, while also integrating art history and art appreciation thru field trips to various museums, art exhibits, botanical gardens, and local points of interest.

Hillary’s online private art classes are an excellent way to work one-on-one from the convenience of your own studio at home, from any part of the world. Through the easy use of a laptop computer or iPad, via FaceTime and Zoom, Hillary offers art instruction at all skill levels, thru discussion and demonstrations, while observing your techniques as you work together during class.
These online classes are also an ideal way to fine tune your portfolio thru diagnosis and analysis, offering resolutions to reoccurring problem in your techniques that provide positive and constructive feedback of work in progress and finished pieces.
